Dear Clarence Valley Wider Community

I have some super exciting news for Clarence Valley.

Have you seen the latest press release about RPPPP – Regional Partnerships Project Pool Program?

We are at the receiving end of significant funding directed towards post-secondary education, in the Clarence Valley. As a community we have been given the opportunity to decide what to do with this funding, within educational boundaries, to create worthwhile partnerships with program universities to widen participation in higher education, in our region.

We request your insight and opinions as we embark on this project.

We would be delighted if you would attend our Community Education Discussion Forum on Wednesday evening the 2nd June, 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm at Country Universities Centre Clarence Valley at 146 Pound St, Grafton.

Melanie Jay, CUC Clarence Valley Centre Manager, will be hosting the evening.

In Phase 1 of the program, from May to July 2022, we are to host various community meetings and a very special VIP event for Educators in our Clarence Valley community on the 8th June.

During the wider community evening on the 2nd June, we will share information about the opportunities for this program and the difference it will make to our community. We are then to form a ‘RPPPP Clarence Valley Working Group’. This group will participate in a full day workshop to create a program design for our community.

This is an exciting prospect for our community and I strongly encourage any community members; including parents, high school students, primary school students, community leaders, various post secondary education interest groups, community professionals, business owners, and anyone interested in contributing to this project for upskilling and educating our community, to come along to the information session.
